Pure Syrah - Zigozago

The wine

"ZIGOZAGO" is born just steps from the winery, on crumbly, mineral-rich soil that yields ripe grapes and distinct aromas. The name is the nickname of the vineyard's former owner, a tribute to his history.

Characteristics

Hand-harvested, destemmed, and gently pressed; spontaneous fermentation for approximately 20 days. After racking, the wine ages in stainless steel for approximately 8 months to develop its fruitiness and drinkability.

Tasting notes

In the glass it is a bright, fruity, smooth and fresh Syrah, with a soft and enveloping finish that invites a second sip.

Recommended pairings

Perfect with cured meats , young cheeses , light grilled meats, red pizza and first courses with sauce.
